Advice from the GNR

At a recent meeting, our new committee member, Sergeant Gabriel Reis asked that we pass on this piece of information to you all.

In certain areas of Portugal (not locally at the moment), gangs are putting marks on perimeter walls to indicate if owners are at home or not, or when generally they are out. These marks are in the shape of an arrow and can be facing any direction, to the left, right, up or down to indicate (in code form) the movements of the occupants. If you see any of these markings please notify the GNR IMMEADIATLY.  Tel. 282 998130
