February 10, 2024
Well the worst days golf we have had in Portugal since 2007. It was a shame it was cold and wet but all except one finished and some of the scores were good.
Thanks again to Neil for sponsoring the day and to pay for an annual trophy which the winner will get next month and keep in custody till next February.
Looking forward to Beddys Birthday Bash in March so lets hope we field five time slots.

Great day Yesterday playing Morgado in the sun…A bit wet under foot due to a heavy Dew and the extra long semi rough which caused several problems looking for your ball in the sun and dew. Still play was not slowed up and we all finished in 4 1/4 hours.
Thanks to the Sponsor for the day Reg who decided he should set an example and win which he did, well done to him.
The Chairman presented the Annual Trophies for the Championship of 2023.
As reported before Neil Maciver finished Champion with Brian Parker and Henk Dijkstra finishing joint Runner Up.
Well onwards and Upwards and looking forward to 8th February which is The Peter Johnson Memorial Stableford (details in another week or so.)
