It is already marked – the date of the largest gastronomic event held in autumn in the south!

On the 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th of December, Aljezur will once again organize the event affirming their celebration of the sweet potato.

The Festival of the sweet potato in Aljezur will keep the format of previous years,  with local craft shows, and the promotion of sweets based on the sweet potato.   The festival will have the presence of local confectioners,  and three or four restaurants and taverns where you can enjoy their unique recipes.

Visitors are also invited to learn from some of the best chefs, while they cook several recipes based on the sweet potato in Aljezur area, dedicated for this purpose.
