Amovate, yesterday, received this communication from José Granja of the Rota Vicentina, asking for volunteers to help with maintenance of the local walks. Unfortunately, it appears that they have already carried out the maintenance to the local walks at Vale da Telha, and Arrifana, but they are hoping the some of the local residents will join them on the last two walks which are planned for the 1st & 2nd November.

Last Thursday we’ve already walked and made an overall revision of the Ponta da Atalaia Circuit, the 14 km of Rota Vicentina that crosses Vale da Telha and connects the magical beach of Monte Clérigo with mighty Arrifana.
We’d like to invite you to participate in this volunteering initiative and to involve the “Moradores and Amigos do Vale da Telha” more directly with the Rota Vicentina project. Please see attach the calendar of this cycle of walks, where you can still sign-up for the next two maintenance walks happening next Sunday and Monday. Monday is in Odeceixe and therefore closer to your area.
Please share this invitation among your members. Those who would like to participate, just need to send an e-mail to voluntariado@rotavicentina.com and bring water, a snack, gloves (if possible) and volunteer spirit in the day of the walk.
