A highly enjoyable day at the Alamos where we played a Bramble team event finished with the following result

The society organises some annual awards and competitions and results for this year are
BEST PLAYER AWARD
This is open to all members who play 4 or more events and is awarded to the person achieving the best average stableford score.
and the award goes to
Chris Dickens with an average of 33 points
other notable scores included Bob Cavanagh whose average exceeded 30 points
BEST INTERMEDIATE PLAYER
This is open to all members with a handicap of 25 or higher who play 4 or more events and is awarded to the person achieving the best average stableford score.

Sharon Dickens with an average of 32 points
other notable performances included Dorine Lensvan Rijn with an average of 29.2
ANNUAL MATCHPLAY TOURNAMENT
This was won by Geoff Costigan who defeated Chris Dickens in final and so retained the trophy he won last year.
